Kitty Bardot takes you into the fascinating world of burlesque with characters you care about. I really enjoyed getting to revisit characters from her previous books, especially Mike and Amanda.

 

There's depth, emotion, character development and plot aside from the romance which is what kept me turning pages well past my bedtime because I couldn't put it down and didn't want to stop reading it. Then when I finished it, I was kicking myself because it was over too soon and I"ll never get the chance to read it the first time again.

 

With Bardot at the wheel, her descriptions heighten the senses while the characters leap off the page wanting to tell their full, complete story.

 

Kitty Bardot knows how to tell a story. In fact, my breath is still labored from reading her tale. Set in New Orleans, you can feel the sweltering heat emanate from page one. The chemistry from the two leads is so electric—at first teasing, then voracious—

 

Once you start, you won't be able to put it down. Highly recommend!

The way this author brings these characters to life is magnificent. I digested the whole thing in one day, could not put it down.

 

Kitty Bardot has written a sweet but sexy second chance romance with lots of colorful characters. It has everything you could ask for in a romance plus a little bit you didn’t even know you needed.
