I'm a Leo, born in 1980 to a pair of young lovers trying to make it in the world. As the youngest of three, my path through early childhood was one of ease. Throughout grade school, I jumped at any opportunity to perform, loving applause more than anything.
In high school, I took up writing and met the boy that would be my husband. We married in May of 2000. It's been one hell of ride! Nearly 20 years later and we've built a life more exciting and satisfying than I could have ever imagined. He has supported me in every wild and wacky endeavor that I could come up with, including entering into the beautiful and sparkling world of burlesque. It seduced us both from the very beginning and changed our lives forever.
Many elements of my book, Burlesque River are inspired by our love and adventures. The rest lie somewhere between reality and fantasy.
Here we are, early in my burlesque career, swept away. Circa 2009
